Note, when I tried this in SeaMonkey, with a fairly large chunk of text, it checked part way through the text, then SeaMonkey stopped it and put up a dialog box that said, “A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now or you can continue to see if the script will complete,” with “Stop script” and “Continue” buttons. When I clicked on the “Continue” button, the script then checked the rest of the way through the text and popped up the Alert to tell me it was done.
